I work closely with teams to foster deeper connections, enabling smoother workflows and minimizing harmful interactions. My approach includes guidance on establishing norms and community agreements that reflect the collective values and goals of the team. By identifying dominant and non-dominant groups, we address how power structures influence organizational dynamics and work towards creating a more equitable structure. I also provide support and create a safe space for teams to openly discuss intent, impact, and harms, ensuring every voice is heard and respected. Together, we'll take meaningful steps towards building a more inclusive and harmonious work environment.

COACHING

For Leaders  from non-dominant groups who are not getting the support and/or resources they need to be effective. I assist in helping them determine what they need and how to ask for it, and I work with those around them to socialize them around the unique requirements for supporting leaders from non-dominant groups.

For Leaders from dominant groups who may be unknowingly perpetuating bias within their teams. I help guide them through how to be more inclusive and effective leaders. I also work with the teams reporting to these leaders to understand how they are impacted. 

For families who want or need to have difficult conversations about Diversity, Equity, Inclusion or Belonging, and who are looking for guidance on how to approach this with a variety of age groups.

SUPPORT

I offer specialized coaching for Leaders, Executive Directors, and DEIB Directors, focusing on real-time strategies to enhance workplace inclusivity and culture. My approach equips leaders with the tools to address inclusivity challenges effectively, ensuring a positive and inclusive environment for all employees.

Additionally, we provide support for families navigating their DEIB journey, offering guidance as family dynamics evolve and discussions about diversity and inclusion become increasingly important. Our goal is to foster understanding and create spaces where everyone feels valued and included.

FACILITATION

I facilitate retreats for staff and boards, creating spaces for meaningful engagement and strategic planning. Our expertise in guiding difficult conversations, whether among employees or within families, helps resolve conflicts and build stronger, more understanding relationships. Our approach is centered on fostering open dialogue and collaborative problem-solving, ensuring that every retreat and conversation leads to positive outcomes and a deeper sense of community.

TRAINING AND EDUCATION

I offer educational workshops on unconscious bias, effective communication, and the importance of connection, tailored for diverse groups looking to enhance their DEIB understanding and practices. Additionally, I curate a comprehensive selection of resources for both workplaces and families, aimed at enriching their knowledge across various DEIB dimensions.
